Welcome high school seniors and parents of seniors to a year full of fun, stress and excitement all wrapped up in a big ball of craziness. Let me help make getting your portraits taken a "FUN" part of your senior year! My goal is to give you pictures that are as unique as you are!

 

Recommendations for a successful senior portrait session:

Your senior portraits are not only commemorating a special time in your life, but they should also capture who you really are and what you like. So feel free to bring items that reflect that. For example, a musical instrument, a letter jacket, a basket ball, skis, a bike, your dog, etc. If you are into food trucks we can go find some food trucks, if you love art we can go find some art or maybe there is a park that has special meaning to your family...then let's go to that park and add some more meaning to it. The key is to choose items and locations that represent you and to have fun with it. It's a moment in time where we get to celebrate you and all your hard work. So let's do that. Let's celebrate you!

Try to pick clothing that you would wear normally. However, try to avoid graphics or anything that is too busy. Big bold patterns and solids photograph best. You don't want anything to date the photo or distract from you. So pick three of your favorites. Generally one formal-ish outfit like a dress or shirt and tie, and two more casual outfits.  If you are having a hard time deciding between outfits bring them, and we can go over them together. Dress in the outfits from head to toe and pack accordingly. This way you can make sure to have everything you need from outfits, accessories and shoes. Make sure you have your nails and toenails done and bring extra make up to reapply if you wear make up.  Most importantly, remember that we are going to have fun, so relax and enjoy being a model. 

 

The Three steps to your senior portrait session: 

Step 1: A phone call or in person consult with the me. Together we will plan a fun senior portrait session, go over some helpful information, come up with a great location, cover photo ideas and answer any questions you have. 

Step 2: The actual portrait session with several outfit changes and lots of fun! My goal is always to celebrate you; a high school senior, and make sure you have a good time so I can capture genuine expressions. 

Step 3: Another meeting with me! We will reminisce on how much fun we had and you will be awed at how well you photograph and how many great shots we got. At this meeting we will narrow down images and choose a package. The packages are listed below so you can get a general idea of what they include but you do NOT have to decide on a package until this meeting.  If you are thinking about purchasing the "My Mom is Making..." package please let me know so I can adjust accordingly.
